June in Alaska is full of life—long days, green leaves, and wildflowers everywhere. The salmon are returning, and our team is energized for a summer full of projects, partnerships, and possibilities! Our Habitat Monitoring and Restoration team has kicked off Pike Camp to suppress invasive Northern pike, the Tyonek Garden is getting planted, and we've been engaging in king salmon fish sampling to help us better understand and protect the streams these fish rely on!

Everywhere I look these days, the world is green! It feels like I blinked and the trees exploded with new leaves. The landscape has come alive with color and excitement—and so has our team at TTCD!

April in Alaska is a time of transition, where winter's grip begins to loosen and the promise of spring starts to take hold—puddles form, rivers trickle, and the sun casts a warmer glow on the landscape.

The days are getting longer, the sun a little brighter and, with the coming of Spring, the sounds and signs of melting are all around.
