Communications & Engagement Coordinator

The Tyonek Tribal Conservation District (TTCD) team is seeking a Communications and Engagement Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for working with the Executive Director and Grants & Programs Coordinator to support the new Alaska Tribal Conservation District Network, manage external media and outreach, and support fund development activities. This highly collaborative position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to consistently multitask and adapt to varying demands.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse partners, stakeholders, and audiences.
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communications across multiple platforms and target audiences.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience creating visual and multimedia content to support communication goals.
Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and communications software, including Microsoft Office, MailChimp, WordPress, Canva, or similar tools.
Experience managing projects involving multiple internal and external partners while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to improving systems and processes.
